Curiosity probably led you here, and may I say, so was I. 

Armed with only curiosity and inspiration to launch the World's First Belgian Tableya (see photo), I founded Theo & Brom in 2018 after emigrating to Belgium. 

Imagine launching a new chocolate concept in the land of pralines and the chocolate capital of the world -- boy, they did not give me an easy time in the beginning! 

But nothing beats the tenacity of the Filipino spirit.

This helped me sail through the rougher parts of the journey while establishing our brand.

By 2019, we were serving the US and Europe markets. Unfortunately, before we could even scale-up further, the pandemic happened.

We were on the brink of closure until the launch of our tableya cake - our last attempt to save our ship from sinking - changed the outcome for the best.

Our pivot allowed us to evolve from an artisanal chocolate brand to an authority on premium tableya crafts and confections. And because of your support, we have then weathered COVID's wrath since then and survived 2020.

Ours is a story that goes beyond just delicious treats.

  • How many pieces of tableya do you get in each package?

Tableya Filipina 150g pouch has 50pcs of mini rounds (each mini round is around 3g). Each 150g pouch can make up to 7 servings.

  • How Can I Enjoy My Tableya Filipina?

We recommend melting 7 mini rounds per 150ml of milk. It is also ready for snacking as a chocolate treat. The formulation is made for bites, beverages, and baking.

  • How can I Make Hot Chocolate?

We recommend melting 7 to 8 rounds for every 150ml of hot milk. Add more to achieve desired thickness and taste. 

Want it thicker?

Cooking in a saucepan is also an option, wherein you heat the milk until hot and bubbly, but not boiling. Then, stir in the chocolate until melted. Bring it to a boil and cook until thickened.

  • Is it Vegan, or Keto-Friendly? 


Yes. Our Tableya Filipina mini rounds contain about 70% total cacao solids (64% cacao and 5% cocoa butter), and we use pure cane sugar. It is vegan-friendly, unless you do not consume sugar. 


Our other clients who are on keto say that they allow themselves up to a 9-gram serving daily (3 mini rounds), which is still within the net-carb consumption for those on a keto diet.

  • Can I use it for Baking?

Yes. The formulation of Tableya Filipina is bake-stable, so it is perfect to use as an ingredient for baking.
